Overall rating 4 Public review room was cosy and bed very comfortable, check-in was easy and even though there wasn't enough towels when we got there the host was very helpful at providing spares. kitchen was a good size and would have been really good I had we needed to stay any longer. one issue was with the bathroom as the shower head was positioned in a way that it kept spraying water out of the bath tub on the floor, and I think it would need to be a bit lower to fix this. I think it was fine for a short stay but I'm not sure I would stay in the area for much longer then we did just as it doesn't feel there was a lot around to do and it does feel a bit like a student house as you stay with strangers and need to share a bathroom. however was really easy to get to and from town on the buses so overall a solid option

Overall rating 4 Public review I hadn’t stayed in an Airbnb like this before - a shared house with the host off-site, four rooms let out, and a shared kitchen and bathroom for everyone to use. It was fine and all worked well - nice to meet the other people. My room was clean, secure and the whole place was kept lovely and warm. It looked like the house had been done up quite recently. My bed was really comfy! The house itself was fine - although there was a neighbour’s dog barking all night which was annoying (obviously not the host’s fault, but perhaps an indicator of the area). It’s also at the top of a hill, which was hard work on a bike! But overall it all worked well and I’d stay again if the need arose.

Pet 07:57 I had a wonderful stay at Skipton Villa - The Red. The place is kept clean at all times and the kitchen is filled with all necessary utensils and food to kick start your day. It is indeed a home away from home. Our host is a warm hearted gentleman who thrives by all means to meet his guest's needs at all times. He is easily reachable on his mobile phone. If there's need for him to pop-up he does so almost immediately. Wi-fi signal was playing funny but the Host got it sorted urgently. You always feel honoured and valued when speaking to him. Good business etiquette. Well done!

Basic categories Staff 10 Cleanliness 10 Location 10 Facilities 10 Comfort 10 Value for money 10 despite the stair it was very pleasant stay and owner polite and helpful 100% how clean every thing was and tea and coffee always there and milk . bed was so comfy i really could of stayed there all day. the other guest were very pleasant. was nice and quite in the house and out side . this is perfect place to stay if you don't mind stairs but they are just starting out. i would recommend prices are good also
